How to Install Intel 845, 855, 865 (Discontinued Motherboards ) Graphic Drivers for Windows 7

 

Hey Friends,

Are you seeing the Windows7? Wow, It’s a looks like a complete glass OS. I so love it. I installed Windows 7 in my computer. Oh no……….. I have a little problem. I can’t see aero effects in my computer & games & graphics software’s not working. I try to install my Motherboard CD to Windows 7. I had another problem. It can’t install it this OS. My motherboard is INTEL D865GSA & I installed Windows7 Ultimate 32bit version.

After I try & try. I had found a way to install my Motherboard drivers to Windows 7. I think this way you can install your all Intel Discontinued motherboard drivers for Windows 7.

But after install motherboard drivers I can’t see the Windows 7 aero & looks like glass effect. But I can play with games & work with graphics software.

This is the way to install your Intel 865 Drivers in Windows7.

1^st Step

Open the CD & go this location

CD ROM: \software\Drivers\Video\14.17.0.4396 or

Go to your Intel 865 Motherboard video (Graphic Media Accelerator) driver software location

2^nd Step

Run Setup.exe

You can see

“This operating system not supports this software. Setup will exit”

or like that.

Don’t fed up. I’m going to tell how install drivers.

3^rd Step

Right click “Setup.exe” & click “Troubleshoot Compatibility”

You can see this screen.

Then Windows7 OS auto scan the program & detecting problems.

4^th Step

In this screen click “Try Recommended Settings”

 

5^th Step

Click “Start the Program”

6^th Step

In computer User Account Controller (UAC) popup window click “Yes”

7^th Step

You can see Intel Graphic Media Accelerator Welcome screen.

Then you can Install Intel 865 drivers in Windows7.

Click “Next” button & go step by step. & Install driver software you Installed Windows XP like that.

8^th Step

You installed Drivers in Windows 7 click “Next” button in “Program Compatibility” window. & click “Yes, save these settings for this program”.

Important – Intel 865 Graphic Media Accelerator (Motherboard) haven’t Windows7 drivers. It has Only Windows XP, 2000, 98 & ME driver. Intel Company says these motherboards are “Discontinued Motherboards”.

It means it hasn’t Windows 7 WDDM Drivers. These motherboards have only XPDM drivers. So you can’t see Windows7 Glass Effect in Intel 865 Motherboards.
